Emily Lenhard
received her Yoga Teacher Certification here in Philadelphia at Dhyana Yoga after several years of devoted practice.  She originally went to yoga classes in attempts to improve her posture.  Surprised to find that she not only gained better posture, but greater confidence, body awareness, and balance in all aspects of her life, she now wants to help others find these traits within themselves.  An experienced massage therapist, Emily has an heightened awareness of anatomy which enables her to guide her students to move safely, intelligently and with grace.  In addition to Yoga and bodywork, Emily has a great interest in Ayurveda, music, and all the beautiful gifts this life has to offer Jill Jones
Jill Jones began to study yoga in the Iyengar tradition in 1994. The Iyengar method emphasizes inward focus through detailed alignment in each yoga posture, what B.K.S. Iyengar refers to as meditation in action. Jill was drawn to this exacting but, in effect, liberating method and remains a dedicated Iyengar student. In 2002, reminded by a senior teacher of the importance of giving back to the community, she started to teach and share with a budding Pittsburgh yoga community what she had learned through her primary teacher, Joan White. Jill continues to train under Joan, as well as with other senior Iyengar teachers. Katharine Livingston
Katharine Livingston began studying dance and gymnastics at the age of 7.  She trained in ballet, jazz, african and many forms of modern dance.  She moved to Philadelphia in 1990 after graduating from CalArts with a BFA in dance.  She performed with ZeroMoving Dance Company and Karen Bamonte Dance Works and co-founded SCRAP Performance group in 1996. She has produced numerous dance concerts and pieces and continues to perform with independent choreographers. She began her Pilates training while at CalArts and continued her studies in Philadelphia with Karen Carlson and in  New York with Romana Kryzanowski.  She has taught  at numerous facilities around Philadelphia since 1992  including  Performing Arts Physical Therapy  at The Pennsylvania Ballet, The Sporting Club at The Bellvue, Philadelphia Sport Clubs and The Working Point.  She began working with kids after the birth of her son in 2000 and received her yoga certification from Next Generation Yoga. Meagan Satinsky
has been a certified yoga teacher since 2006, when she completed a 250-hour training in vinyasa flow style yoga at Wake Up Yoga in Philadelphia, PA. As a licensed physical therapist since 2000, she has always had a passion for the study of movement as it relates to the human body and mind. Since she was first introduced to the practice and philosophy of yoga, Meg has seen and felt the benefits of a dedicated practice firsthand through a daily practice and application of various poses, meditation techniques and breath work. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue to soak up and share her love, knowledge and experience of the practice with others.
